Babies make Christmas eve

This is the best Christmas eve I can remember. At least since my Auntie B moved away 6 years ago. I had my Sister, Future Brother-in-law, Nephew, and Dad over last night for our traditional Christmas eve feast (Frito Chili Dogs) and got to watch my nephew open presents. I had a blast watching him open his presents. He's surprisingly adept for an 8 month old. lol He was going to town! And he kept trying to eat the paper. haha I'll post some pics so you can see how adorable he was. I can't wait to have my own, I imagine it'll be even more exciting. Weird Right?

Okay, I want your guy's opinion. There's this guy I saw for a really short time in high school. Anyway, back then we had an English class together and we sat next to each other. He was really smart and very cute, but he was a little too worldly for me and had that hippy/James Dean thing down to a T. But we ended up pretty good friends.

Well this semester we ended up taking a Poetry class together after not seeing each other for 3 years. Anyway, on the second day of class he came and sat next to me. But we didn't talk. I was waiting for him to say something because he sat next to me but he never did. And then the next week he sat in the back of class. I know he knew it was me even though I look pretty different, but he looks eaxctly the same except maybe cuter if that's possible. lol

So for this whole semester we haven't talked. Anyway yesterday I was reading a book waiting for class to start and then I felt someone standing next to me. He was reading over my shoulder! He used to do that all the time. Anyway, when I look up at him he just keeps on reading then gives me a half smile and sits a couple feet away still without saying anything!

Now am I just being nutty or is this weird? I have no idea what is going on. I would say something but I kinda feel the moments passed ya know? Anyway, I jsut wanted to get some opinions.

Dog Gone Dog Days

I had Dog Days today. For those of you who don't know that's Fresno State's orientation/induction/seminar/mass registration etc. It lasted from 7 am to 2:45. And for 2/3rds of it I was completely bored out of my mind. The only part that really interested me was when we were being major advised.

I met with an advisor who was putting me on my med school path. She was a wealth of knowledge. I just learned so much from her. I finally feel like I'm on my way instead of just wasting my time. I also made a contact with Dr. Aguliar who is heading up a major research project in my Biology field and he's willing to let me participate. I am so excited about it. It will help with my Med school applications. I'm so excited about all of this. Plus, I met some nice people who share my major.

I can't wait to be a Doctor! I'm finally on my path.

Thanksgiving in Pictures

These are pics of my family this thanksgiving. Not all of them of course because my fam is huge. Not everyone made it this year which was a bit sad but this Thanksgiving was wonderful. My family is so great and we all have so much fun together. I couldn't ask for a better one and I thank my heavenly father each day for them. That is what I'm thankful foir this year, my family ;o)

What happened to vacations? Thank heavens for shoes!

I have been working all day on school work. The semester only has a few weeks left in it and it seems it's been speeding up and with that the amount of school work is increasing exponentially. I can barely keep up. What happened to vacations? I'm off this week, but I'm swamped with work. Was it me who said I loved school? I think I was duped. lol I wish I only had science classes, for some reason they don't stress me out because it's just basic studying with an straightforward exam following. No biggie. Even my Poetry class is a big stress. (who would've thought?) We have to create a published Chapbook. It's taking hours off my life.

That and my math class. Grr. I swear I think math is evil. I never have struggled in any school subject but math. It takes me 3 times the time to grasp a mathematical concept than any other kind. Drives me nuts! A (B) is what I hope for instead of an (A) like my other classes. Maybe I'll have to swallow my pride and accept help with Math to keep my GPA up. I really don't like that idea. I like giving help not taking it ;o( Like in my science class my instructor has me tutor the other students. I like that feeling of helping much better. Oh I wanted to mention my Science teacher is AJ Fox. You know the weather guy? Isn't that cool? He's totally awesome and really funny.

So with school work, financial issues, making time for a social life, birthday parties and shopping for them, and a million other time sucking or stressing things the only way my head hasn't exploded is by losing myself in looking at Christian Louboutin pumps online. Shallow I know, but hey it works. And aren't they gorgeous?

Well like the title says I know I haven't posted on here in awhile. Almost a month actually. I haven't even been on here in that long. It's crazy because I got my Mom to create one and it's spread to the rest of my family, and they post every day! So I've decided to be better about posting. Especially because I feel incerdibly guilty because I have these comments from people and I didn't even know, so I'm sure it seems like I'm ignoring them. Not the case people I assure you!

My birthday was this month(that's another blog entirely) and then came 5 other ones in my family. So along with Thanksgiving this our busiest month. lol Other things have been soaking up all my free time, so blogging has sadly gotten the axe this month, but I think I can make some time. I've got tons I want to talk about! So much has happened. But I'll give you an update on this month tomorrow but I'm posting a few pics since pictures speak more quickly than I type. lol I stole them from my Aunt Jamie's camera because I can't find my USB cable to upload my own ;o(
